In the first 3 days of attending Hammond River Survival Day Camp my children came home and washed the dinner dishes, cleaned the bathroom and went to bed without complaining or whining and THEN made our bed this morning!!! Awesome Camp 🙂

Nathan is love Survival Camp! My favorite part is he comes home asking to do chores, his favorite part is getting dirty. Which leads to my least favorite part; washing that Tshirt everyday LOL. Great Camp! Thanks!

I love Mike from Hammond River Survival Camp! He sent Karter home with homework – He needs to do the dishes tonight! LOL Karter has an amazing 1st day of camp. Built a fort, made a bridge and learned about fire. He was one HAPPY and DIRTY boy!

Our 3 kids came home each day from camp and could not wait to show us what they had learned.  I could see their new found confidence and pride in learning these great outdoor skills.  Each evening they continued their camp activities in the wooded areas around our house instead of coming in and watching TV or picking up the video games!

HRSC Administrative Director - Christie has also worked in the camping industry for many years, from providing first aid at overnight camps to creating and managing Survive & Stay Alive Camp. She is excited to be part of this new initiative and is more than willing to volunteer as a board member for the Hammond River Survival Camp. She is passionately supportive of seeing children outside in the fresh air, learning through hands on experience.
